Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham has been a pioneering arts complex for over 50 years, offering a range of events and classes across the creative disciplines, with over a million people attending every year.
A cross funded ongoing renovation project recently sought to reinvigorate key areas of the site to improve the visitor experience, and the space surrounding the accessible artists studio has utilised the Woodscape bespoke panel planter and seating system to great effect.
Positioned alongside some beautiful decorative panel fencing (manufactured by Stark and Greensmith), with a practical ground surface treatment, both utilising a bird silhouette design that wonderfully reflects the souring flights of creativity from MAC users, the deep green powder-coated planter and hardwood seating with gentle curves, creates a space thats accessible, inviting and pleasing to the eye.
